Blue in the Mountain

A mix of oil painting and digital printing on polystyrene panels. The rocks depicted are fragments of massive rock blocks inscribed in space of blue. The rocky forms in the pictures are often incomplete, unfinished, cut down and diagonally arranged. The compositions suggest a desire to step outside the frame, associated with a desire to break free – to step out of the spatial arrangement.
